Migratory Bird Call Station, 2006 detail view

A participatory installation for people and waterfowl. Located on the waterfront in Peekskill, NY where a variety of migrating waterfowl pass each Fall, a fake tree stump allows visitors to
activate bird whistles that call out to ducks and geese. Located close by is a small fountain providing fresh water for birds and other wildlife. The Installation allows a rare opportunity for people to communicate with migrating birds while highlighting the park's controlled natural environment.
